Beach Photography FAQ’s

After you complete your online booking you will receive an email confirmation.

I will personally reach out via text within 24 hours to say hello and talk over any additional details!

Balance payment is due by the date of the session. I am happy to process that for you when we meet, or you can pay in full at the time of booking.

Depending on where you’re staying, I am happy to come to your location.

If you are not staying in an ideal location, I will help to choose a beautiful beach access for us that’s close by.

I always advise to book during the beginning of your stay in case we would need to adjust due to the weather.

I keep an eye on the weather for every session. Summer thunderstorms can be unpredictable, so it’s best not to reschedule too early in advance. The beach photographers here always joke that we are also amateur meteorologists (I mean at this point we might as well be).

If you’re able to adjust your session time or date when the weather isn’t ideal- it’s more likely we’ll be able to get your beautiful photos done.

Just remember that some of the prettiest sunsets happen on rainy days.

As an outdoor, natural light photographer I can advise that neutral tones are best!

You can still have some color of course, but please avoid any “highlighter” colors, neons and bright primary colors. The light will bounce from your clothing and can distort skin tones. This is much less likely to be an issue if you choose softer tones. Choose some colors that you love and and outfit that you feel comfortable and confident in.

We don’t have to be dressed in our Sunday best either! It is YOUR session, after all!

All beach session times are based around sunrise and sunset to provide you the best possible lighting.

The exact time varies throughout the year, but the majority of session start times are between 6-7am and 6-7pm.

You can also see a very close estimate at the time of booking to help with any other plans during your time at the beach!

That all depends on what you’d like out of the session! The more fun we have, the more photos you’ll receive.

My beach sessions usually include 100 or more photos in the finished gallery.

Yes!! While you are not required to purchase your prints here, I would 100% advise you do so!

The print shop will be built directly into your online gallery. I offer amazing quality products for your artwork through some amazing professional print companies.

All of these items ship directly to you, from trusted labs only available to professional photographers. This ensures my clients proper color matching on their prints, as well as some of the highest quality products available for a beautiful display.

The deposit payment is non-refundable but I am happy to apply your deposit to another date if it is available, as long as the reschedule is requested no less than 14 days prior to your original session date.

This does not apply to rain-outs. If we are unable to complete a session due to weather, the deposit will be refunded or applied to a future session date.

While I don’t specifically advertise this, I do have a few special pieces on hand!
