It’s time to talk about Ben & Hana’s engagement session. It’s one that I was rushing home from to get started on editing. It was just THAT good.
I’ve been booking a lot more couples beach photography sessions recently and must say that I am loving it. These two are one of those couples that you can’t help but smile when you watch them together. Their love is so deep it is nearly tangible. Neither of them stopped smiling the entire time and they never got tired of me asking for them to kiss “one more time.” If I can have clients like these, I’ll happily be an Orange Beach engagement photographer till the end of time!

When we met up Hana pulled out her phone, showed me some amazing Pinterest inspiration and started using all of my favorite words… motion, romance, messy, candid, blurry, black and white. I was stoked! If you’re familiar with my work, you know I can’t pass up a good black and white filmy photo opportunity. I made sure to pull out all my little tricks for couples beach photography sessions like these- the trusty plastic bag with a hole in it, the pantyhose, the JBL speaker. You know, the necessities.
We opted for just a couple quick posed shots and then dove right in! We used simple prompts to create movement and spent the entire session running, splashing, laughing and loving. They weren’t afraid to get wet or sandy, and my god was it worth it. This is what your couples beach photography session should be! Carefree, casual, and filled with lots of love. Though the entire session was an amazing time, I think my favorite moment was seeing Ben & Hana share one more kiss as I was driving away.
